BUILDING NUEX TONAL SHELF

Preserve the Beauty

To preserve the beauty of your NuEx Tonal Shelf, we recommend some light maintenance. These easy-to-use cleaning instructions will help.

If your shelf starts to collect dust:

  • Dust the shelf with a dry cloth (we recommend a DRY microfiber cloth), as needed.

If your shelf needs to a deeper cleaning:

  1. Use 2 soft cloths: 1 damp and 1 dry.
  2. With the damp cloth: use a gentle cleaning solution like two parts water and one part dish soap.
  3. Immediately dry the wet parts of the shelf with your damp cloth. Do not let it air dry.
  • Spot cleaning is the best method to get out those tough stains.

Here are some tips to avoid:

  • Avoid using abrasive cleaners or harsh chemicals. Over time, these can strip away even the most durable paint. For best results, use gentle cleaning solutions like two parts water and one part dish soap.
  • Don’t spray cleaning solution directly onto your shelf. Instead, spray small amounts of the cleaning solution on a soft microfiber cloth.
  • Be mindful of how much liquid you’re using to clean your cabinets. Damp cloths work best because they prevent the liquid from damaging the shelf and paint.
  • Avoid certain cleaning agents such as: ammonia, glass cleaner, silicone base, spray cleaners, citrus cleaners, petroleum solvents, wax base, powder bleach, magic erasers, and scouring pads. These contain either corrosive chemicals or abrasive materials that can cause damage to your shelf.
